The Nigerian movie industry has indeed lost great stars who really made the industry what it is especially when it comes to action movies and one of such actor is late J.T Tom West, who was known for movies like Flashback, State of Emergency, Terror and others.

It’s about 10 years now since the actor passed away and many have forgotten about him but one actor who still appreciates the role he played in her life is actress cum politician, Kate Henshaw.

The actress while recalling her encounter with the late actor explained that she wouldn’t be appreciated today if the actor had not given her an opportunity to display her talent after she had attended an audition he called for back in the days.

In her words, “J.T. Tom West….23 years ago, I was nothing but a green horn as they called me back then. I was inquisitive about the audition you invited me to, had no idea of what to expect. After many weeks, I received a note (there were no mobile phones then) that I should come back and read again for a role. I was still unsure of what this was all about. Long story short, Director Ifeanyi Anyafulu chose me to play the Lead role of OMONO in HINTS MAGAZINE’s first ever movie, WHEN THE SUN SETS, the rest they say is history.

The Mother of Wizkid’s 2nd Son decided to talk on How She “just wants him to Step up and be a Man face His Responsibilities”

Binta Diamond Diallo is finally speaking out.

The alleged second baby mama of superstar Wizkid spoke exclusively toTheShadeRoom yesterday and she opened up on how Wizkid hasn’t stepped up to the plate since she gave birth.

According to her, Wizkid had earlier promised to be in the baby’s life when she told him she was pregnant but since she gave birth he hasn’t seen the baby.

Binta, who is currently based in Atlanta, revealed that she wants his behavior towards his child to change.  Binta says that she just wants him to step up and be a man about his responsibilities.

So far Wizkid has still not claimed or denied the child. His last tweet reads:

Silent treatment for Blackface:Tuface, Wizkid

Music industry stars Tuface and Wizkid appear to have chosen silence as the response to claims by Dancehall artiste Blackface that both musicians separately stole his songs.

The accused stars have gone about their business, at least on the social media, without commenting on the weighty allegations, leaving their fans to do the talking.

Former ‘Plantashun Boi’ and Tuface ally Ahmedu Augustine, widely known as Blackface, had whipped up a storm on the social media recently when he accused Wizkid of “stealing” his songs.

Blackface was believed to have taken a swipe at Wizkid in a new track titled Killa for allegedly copying many of his songs especially two tracks from his Dancehall Business album released in 2010.

“If you check properly, you would realise that Wizkid’s hit, Ojuelegba, sounds exactly the same as the track 13 on my dancehall album released as far back as 2010. You need to listen to that album to know what I am talking about.

The song is so similar that I think it shouldn’t be that way,” Blackface told Saturday Beats in an exclusive interview.

“Well, in Killa, I sang that “they tried to copy my melody,” and the bloggers got a hint of the gist and put their reports out. What I said is the truth and I am going to get to the root of this matter because I deserve justice.”

On Monday, Blackface stirred up more controversy when he claimed that Tuface stole the song “Let Somebody Love You” on the latter’s 2014 album, “Ascension” from him.

 Here was what he tweeted.“You singing #LetSomebodyLoveYou without telling me when you know it’s my song isn’t going down without the world knowing what you and your manager Efe been doing …am coming for una, don’t get it twisted #ItsGameOn #BFN,” 

Tuface has, however, stayed silent on the matter. A source within his camp said he was unlikely to comment on the issue, especially via the media, as he considers Blackface a friend and that problems between them should be resolved privately.

Efforts to reach his manager, Efe Omorogbe, were, unsuccessful.
On the other hand, while Wizkid has also not spoken about the allegation, he has retweeted comments made by his fans about the issue, including those suggesting Blackface was using the controversy to revive his career.
His manager, Sunday Are, could not be reached for comments. Calls to his phone number on Monday were not answered. On Tuesday, his personal assistant, who answered the phone, said he was not available.
